rust freezing/crashing
so your rust is freezing shortly after joining a server?
run steam as admin
right click steam-desktop-icon > properties > compability > run as admin
run rust as admin
right click rust-desktop-icon > properties > compability > run as admin
compability does not exist? > delete that dektop-icon, its not a real one, we will make a real one now
- right click steam-desktop-icon > properties > link > [copy / ctl+c the target]
- open a new explorer and [paste / ctrl+v, remove the part "steam.exe" and hit enter]
- from there, navigate to steamapps/common/Rust
- right-click-dragndrop Rust.exe to desktop > create link
- right click (the just created) rust-desktop-icon > properties > compability > run as admin
